Our mission is to provide accessible, person-centered, evidence-based behavioral health services that promote hope, recovery, resilience, and wellness for children, adolescents, adults, and families in our rural communities. We partner with the individuals we serve to build on their strengths, support informed choice, improve quality of life, and help each person achieve meaningful, measurable outcomes in the least restrictive environment possible.
Kendalls Rehab Services of LA maintains the following beliefs:

Based on our system of beliefs, it is our philosophy to provide services that are strength-based, holistic, inclusive to people of all ages to promote individual success and freedom of choice. All services provided by Kendalls Rehab Services of LA will be driven by Child and Adolescent Level of Care Utilization System (CALOCUS) and adult Level of Care Utilization System (LOCUS).
Kendalls Rehab Services of LA Outpatient Programs provide a continuum of care that ensures all clients and family members referred are evaluated and provided services that meet their needs. The services provided by Kendalls Rehab Services are expected to assist clients in the stabilization of recently acute symptoms of mental illness, assist clients in coping with the symptoms of their mental illness, reduce or prevent psychiatric hospitalizations, and minimize the amount of time spent in out-of-home placement.
Strategic Plan 2025 - 2028
Kendalls Rehab Services of LA developed a written Strategic Plan that is approved by Executive Leadership and the Governing Body. The plan reflects Kendalls Rehab Services of LA's financial position, current workforce capacity, anticipated community needs, and strategic priorities for the next three years.
Input may be obtained through surveys, meetings, focus groups, satisfaction surveys, advisory committees, community assessments, performance data, and other methods.

Strategic Goal 8: Maintain Compliance and Accreditation
Objective: Maintain compliance with CARF, Louisiana Department of Health, Medicaid, and other regulatory requirements.
The Strategic Plan will be revised as necessary to reflect changes in organizational priorities, available resources, and the behavioral health needs of the communities served.
